Nutritional Practitioner and Personal Chef Mickey Trescott sought to convert her extensive research and personal struggle with Autoimmune diseases into a not just a cookbook, but a collection of tips, recipes, meal plans and loads of resources designed to help anyone suffering from Autoimmune diseases. Her approach used and expanded upon a paleolithic diet. While there are many similar cookbooks on the market, I wanted to this one to stand out from the rest. The main objectives was to make it simple to use and easy to follow.

Proposed soft drink inspired by the languid belles and parched cowboys of the old west. The flavor of each bottle is revealed not only by the words on the label, but by the material on which each label is printed: birch wood paper for birch flavor, cherry wood paper for cherry flavor, and maple wood paper for maple flavor.
BCC Cycling Kit
Being an avid cyclist myself, I jumped at the chance to design a kit for the Boise Cycling Club Wheelmen team. The inspiration came from the Mapei Italian road racing team from the early 90's and their signature jersey designs adorned with brightly colored geometric shapes. The Wheelmen have fared quite well since donning their new kits. I'd like to think it is not a coincidence.
Proposed design of promotional mailer for the annual Art Director's Club Fall Paper Expo. Handcrafted paper leaves and banner.
Noah Trescott is a classically trained Cellist and Violin builder with over 15 years of experience. After his passion for creating beautifully designed pieces of furniture was realized, Fermata Woodworks was born. A Fermata is an element in classical music in which the composer wishes to pause. It is a note or rest to be sustained for an extended period of time. I wanted to create an identity that combined and complemented both Noah's classical music roots and his contemporary yet rustic aesthetic.
Web design for word renowned art gallery Carlton Hobbs. Specializing in the acquisition, conservation, and research of 17th, 18th and 19th century British and Continental furniture and works of art, Carlton Hobbs lacked a significant online presence and I felt they needed a site to compliment and display their impressive collection while maintaining simple and pleasant user experience.

A Identity and promotional piece for Friends of the Trees; a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable agriculture; more specifically: Permaculture. The logo embodies the vision of Friends of the Trees by combining a universal tool: a shovel; a sprouting plant and the letters in the organization's name itself. The interactive mailer is for an annual event in which numerous farmers, professors and community organizations convene to discuss, practice, teach and learn about ways to live and grow food more sustainably. Each packet contains the seeds of four different herbs that can be used in various ways; to grow, use for aromatherapy, culinary or cosmetic purposes. The entire package is biodegradable, creating less waste in landfills and more compost for future farms.
